Harrison Drywall was founded by Dave Harrison in 1991 and has serviced residential and commercial construction. Since the beginning the company has grown to $5 million annually and has employed as many as 70 people. Harrison Drywall specializes in metal stud framing and drywall. The growth of the company has allowed Harrison Drywall to take on larger projects. With large projects such as Enloe Medical Center in Chico or technical jobs such as Feather Falls Brewery in Oroville (please see our Project Gallery) we have the expertise to complete any construction project.

The Harrison Family started in the drywall industry with Raymond Harrison Drywall in 1949. In 1953, he and his son Paul started United Drywall, Inc. in Richmond California. In 1960 Paul Harrison became the president of United Drywall, Inc. United Drywall, Inc. was a union contractor for 40 years servicing the greater Bay Area.

David Harrison, President, of Harrison Contracting, Inc. dba Harrison Drywall, is a third generation framer/estimator. He joined the Carpenters Union in 1974. In 1983 he became an officer with United Drywall, Inc. in Richmond, California working with his father, Paul. United Drywall, Inc. was a company started by his grandfather in 1958. Dave's family moved to Lake Almanor, California in 1991 and he started Harrison Drywall working on residential and commercial projects in that area. In 2001 the business moved to Chico, California and has been concentrating exclusively on commercial projects throughout the north state.
 
Brian Harrison, Vice President, is fourth generation in the construction industry. He graduated from Cal-Poly, Pomona with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2003. From 2001 to 2004 he worked with WLC Architects in both Pomona and Richmond, California. He was responsible for submitting DSA drawings for various school projects. In 2004 he joined Harrison Drywall in Chico and has been responsible for estimating and project management. In 2009 Brian became a partner in the business.
 
Adam Harrison, Treasurer, is also a fourth generation estimator. He worked as a drywall installer from 1995 – 1998 with Harrison Drywall. Then went to UC Santa Cruz and graduated with an engineering degree in 2002. He worked as an engineer from 2002 – 2008 for Vena Engineering. In 2008 he joined Harrison Drywall as an estimator and project manager. In 2009 Adam became a partner in the business.
 
Lewis Blackwell, Lead Foreman, From 1986 through 1991 he was employed by United Drywall, Inc. In 1991, when Dave opened his business in Lake Almanor, Lewis joined him and has worked with him since that time as the lead foreman. He has overseen projects from $5,000 to $7 million from start to finish throughout Northern California and is responsible for the management of 1 to 50 man crews. Many of the projects have been public works jobs and OSHPD.
 
Curtis Nobles, Taping Foreman, has been employed in the drywall field since 1978. He joined Harrison Drywall in 2000 and was promoted to taping foreman soon after. He has overseen projects throughout Northern California including hospitals and medical centers, schools, fitness centers and casinos.
 
Lois Arcoraci, Office Manager, moved to Chico, CA in 1979 and worked as a medical assistant running the back office for 28 years. She started with Harrison Drywall in February 2007 as our secretary and in November of that same year she was promoted to Office Manager. In that capacity she is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Administration of Contracts and the general workings of the front office.
